Bradley Walsh breaks down watching 'scary' footage of his son's skydive

Bradley Walsh became emotional while he watched video footage of his son, Barney, jumping from a plane.

The Chase star, 60, broke down as he relived the scary moment from their father-son show Breaking Dad.

Bradley and Barney were reviewing some of their favourite stunts for the ITV special on Monday night’s show, and the TV host fought back the tears as he expressed how he felt at the time.

The proud dad's lip began to quiver and tears filled his eyes as he watched his son bravely leap from the plane at 120mph.

“That's very emotional isn't it,” he said while wiping away the tears.

"Watching that back and seeing you jump out the plane...

"You only see my arm jolt, but I thought I'd made a massive lunge to grab hold of you to stop you running out in front of a car."

Bradley admitted it was one of the most terrifying experiences of his life, saying: "I was so scared, I was so scared."

Despite this, his son had completely different feelings about the exhilarating adventure.

"I want to do that as often as possible," Barney enthused while poking fun at his dad.

"It was a crazy experience."

Fans flocked to social media to sympathise with proud dad Bradley and his emotional reaction.

"Bradley loves Barney so much, he's such a good dad!" gushed one viewer.

"Awhh bless Bradley! He's such a softie – who knew?!" another echoed.

Meanwhile a third tweeted, "So sweet that Bradley started to cry while watching that back. He has a heart of pure gold!"

Breaking Dad series 3 kicks off on ITV on Monday January 4 at 8pm.
