Bradley Walsh accuses Chase player after he avoids key question

Bradley Walsh was quick to interrogate a Chase player tonight as he remained evasive about what his job was.

Bradley chatted to Pete from Plymouth about his job and Pete said that he worked in an "engineering support company" as a business analyst.

Pete was probed by Bradley about exactly what the company made and he said: "Marine items".

Looking excited Bradley said: "You're not allowed to say are you? Peter are you a spy?"

Pete, 36, said: "I'm not, I'd like to be."

Instead in his spare time Pete said he liked to organise ghost tours and if he won some cash he wanted to renovate his house and put in a new bathroom.

Pete got £6,000 in his cash builder and decided to go for that as we went up against The Dark Destroyer, Shaun Wallace, who was tonight's Chaser.

Bradley continued to ask him if he was involved in the intelligence services as he said: "You can tell me, are you a spy?"

Bradley also told Shaun: "You could be a bond villain."

But Shaun said: "James Bond couldn't kill me, I'd be like Jaws, I'd survive."

To which Bradley joked: "Wasn't that Gloria Gaynor?"

After a tricky head to head Pete returned to his team with the cash, with Bradley congratulating him on beating Shaun.

*The Chase continues at 5pm on ITV tomorrow
