Bradley Lowery's mum has revealed she is expecting her third child.
In an emotional Facebook post, Gemma Lowery confirmed her family are "over the moon" at the news
Tragic Bradley's cancer battle moved the nation. However, the inspirational six-year-old died in 2017.
However, in a post on The Bradley Lowery Foundation's Facebook page, Gemma announced the pregnancy with a baby vest emblazoned with a scan picture - and the message 'Hand picked for Earth by my brother in Heaven'.
She posted that herself and Bradley's dad Carl had "so much love to give" and couldn't wait to meet the tot.
"We decided to start trying in January for a baby and it didn’t take long to see them two lines on the pregnancy stick," she stated.
"Bradley is going to be the best guardian angel to his little brother or sister."
She added the couple, and their son Kieran, are "absolutely over the moon and very excited for November to meet our prince or princes".
The news follows another tough year for the County Durham family, after Carl spent a fortnight in hospital after a serious accident last May after which he was "lucky to be alive".
The Blackhall Colliery couple have helped raise millions through the foundation memory of little Bradley, who battled neuroblastoma - a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
The Sunderland superfan struck up a remarkable friendship with Black Cats striker Jermain Defoe.
The former England international recently revealed that he still thinks about the youngster every day.
