Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend Irina Shayk gets flooded with support amid Lady Gaga ‘chemistry’ drama

Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend Irina Shayk has been flooded with support amid speculation of a romance between the actor and his A Star is Born co-star Lady Gaga.

The co-stars performed an intense version of the film's hit song Shallow at the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday, sparking rumours over a romance, something Gaga has firmly shut down.

Shayk, who was accused by viewers of being “jealous” of the pair, shared a caption-less close-up snap on Thursday.

The selfie attracted a swarm of supportive comments from fans.

One user wrote: “Gaga who?”

“Beautiful, natural, stunning and class,” added another.

A third commented: “@Irinashayk could you be, the most beautiful girl in the world...keep your beautiful family safe from all this craziness since A Star is Born.”

The comments come after Gaga blasted reports her relationship with Cooper is anymore than friendship, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The 32-year-old singer highlighted how the pair are both actors and made the audience “believe what we wanted.”

She said: “First of all, social media quite frankly is the toilet of the Internet and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal.

"And people saw love, and guess what, that's what we wanted you to see. This is a love song, the movie is a love story."

Gaga and Cooper raised eyebrows after they took to the stage at the Dolby Theatre over the weekend to perform a dramatic rendition of the emotional song, which saw Cooper nuzzle into her neck.

The songstress and her musical collaborators Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt took home the Best Original Song gong at the ceremony for the moving track.
