Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga... and Irina Shayk at the Oscars: A Star Is Born pair didn't sit together and fans aren't happy

Bradley Cooper’s partner Irina Shayk has been branded “jealous” after she sat between Cooper and his A Star is Born co-star Lady Gaga during the 2019 Oscars ceremony.

Shayk, who shares one-year-old daughter Lea with the actor, was met with a swarm of criticism online after eagle-eyed viewers noticed she was in the middle of Cooper and Gaga during the glitzy event.

Most users did, however, sympathise with the Russian model, adding that they too would be “jealous”.

“Irina got jealous so she sat between Bradley and Gaga the pettiness jumped out,” one user wrote.

Another added: “I could never be the wife/gf of a Hollywood actor because I’d be jealous AF alllll the time. Looking at you Irina Shayk (sic).”

“No wonder why they didn’t show Irina’s face during this, I even got jealous! ,” a third commented.

Another commented: “Haha there’s no way Irina Shayk didn’t get jealous, watching those two and their chemistry.”

Other users mocked Shayk’s “fake smile” adding that she “knows the cameras are glued to her.”

“Irina’s ice-smile face when Gaga thanked Bradley for “believing in us” is what the kids call ‘a mood’ #oscars,” one user posted.

Cooper and Gaga’s palpable “chemistry” proved a success with fans as viewers couldn't get enough of their standout performance of Shallow.

Their rendition of the hit track was hailed the “best” part of the ceremony with many praising the “beautiful” rapport between the pair.

Gaga and her musical collaborators Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt went on to pick up Best Original Song for the track.

Cooper lost out on the Best Actor gong to Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek and Gaga missed out on Best Actress to The Favourite’s Olivia Colman.
