Bradley Chubb provided a moment of comic relief during Broncos’ loss to Packers

During the second quarter of Sunday’s 27-16 loss to the Packers, Green Bay’s left tackle was flagged for a false start after Broncos outside linebacker Bradley Chubb lined up like he was about to rush.

Chubb was pretty excited about the penalty and celebrated it almost as if he had recorded a sack.

It was a funny moment in an otherwise disappointing game for Denver. Chubb’s moment of humor was overshadowed by the loss.

Chubb — and all of the Broncos’ defenders — are sackless through three weeks of the season. Denver’s defense has not created any turnovers, either, and the offense turned the ball over three times on Sunday.

“We’re not doing enough good things that the good teams that win do,
which is protect the ball,” Broncos coach Vic Fangio said after the game. “It hasn’t been a problem in the first two games, but it was today.

“We’re not getting the ball turned over, as everybody has alluded to. And we’re not stopping them enough, even though our stats might show that. We’re not playing good enough defense.”

Up next for Denver is a home game against the Jaguars in Week 4.
