Bradley Chubb is back!

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Bradley Chubb was activated from injured reserve to the 53-man roster on Saturday, the team announced.

Chubb is now set to make his return to action at home against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. Chubb played in just one game earlier this year before re-aggravating a lingering ankle injury.

Chubb is now healthy again, but it remains to be seen if he’ll be reinserted into the starting lineup right away. After trading away Von Miller, the Broncos have been starting Malik Reed and Jonathon Cooper at outside linebacker in recent weeks.

In addition to activating Chubb, Denver also elevated offensive tackle Quinn Bailey from the practice squad to the game day roster. Bailey will revert back to the practice squad on Monday without having to clear waivers.

The Broncos also designated inside linebacker Micah Kiser to return from injured reserve earlier this week, but Kiser will not be activated in time for Sunday’s game. Kiser’s 21-day window to return to the 53-man roster started last Wednesday.

Sunday’s game against the Chargers will begin at 2:05 p.m. MT (TV map).
