Brad Stevens: Al Horford has a clean bill of health entering Game 3

The Boston Celtics are in Indiana where they will take on the Pacers in Game 3. The Celtics lead the series 2-0 and they look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Pacers on Friday night.

Celtics big man Al Horford has been battling an illness that threatened to keep him out of Game 2. However, Celtics head coach Brad Stevens provided a promising update and it seems like whatever Horford had is gone.

Despite Horford’s illness and slow start in Game 2, his health status didn’t be seem to effect the rest of the team on the court too much as the Celtics took care of business at home. On the road, Boston will face their biggest test yet, as the Pacers will put up their best fight in the series with their back against the wall.

As alluded to earlier, Horford has been struggling a bit on the offensive end of the floor in the first two games, averaging only 7.0 points per game. However, healthy, his offensive production should better than it was the first two games in the series.

Tip-off between the Celtics and Pacers will begin shortly after 8:30 PM EST at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
