Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie seemed to be set to continue their custody battle despite a judge making a decision after five years of bitter wrangling.
The 57-year-old Hollywood actor was awarded 50/50 joint custody of his children with Maleficent star Angelina, 45, earlier this week but the actress is not happy with the ruling.
Angelina wants the decision overturned as is looking to get a temporary block on the proceedings.
Last year, Ange has claimed similarly, saying that the judge had "failed to make timely mandatory disclosures of ongoing business and professional relationships between himself” and Brad’s attorneys.
Angelina also claimed that the judge didn't inform her and her legal team of other divorce cases he was working on with Brad's lawyers, which made him "biased."
This was dismissed last November and the judge awarded Brad 50/50 custody after Angelina had blocked access to the children, based upon the alleged altercation Brad had with their son Maddox on a flight, which had prompted her to seek a divorce in 2016. The FBI investigated the allegations but it was dropped with no charges brought against the actor.
Brad has made it clear that he will not be backing down and has claimed that any delay could "harm" the children.
The Sun has reported that in a statement from Brad's lawyers, he says: “Any delay would only work grave harm upon the children, who will be further denied permanence and stability.”
The statement adds that if there is a delay, it would be “wholly inappropriate”.
The judge added: “The existing custody order must be modified in the best interests of the children.”
The pair are parents to Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
