And yesterday brought even more joy when it was claimed he'd bought their former £60.5million marital mansion - the dream home they spent three years renovating together - as a gift for her milestone birthday.
However, he's now taken the unusual step of shutting down rumours he snapped up the luxurious 12,000 sq ft Beverly Hills property for his ex.
His team assured The Sun there is no truth to the claims, although sources insist his friendship with Jen has still "come a long way" since his 2016 split from Angelina Jolie - the woman he left Jen for.

"Brad and Jen have stayed friends for a long time, but it was awkward for them to meet up when he was with Angelina and because no-one saw them together, people assumed they weren’t friends. They are," a source told the website.
"They want everyone – all of their A-list mates and their exes – to know they’re on good terms and friendly.
"Brad coming along to a huge event like that was a public move, but he doesn’t care what people think – he and Jen are friends, they support each other and their relationship has come a long way since their divorce, and even since his split from Angelina."

Brad and Jen split in January 2005 after he met Angelina on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith the year before.
At the time he assured the Friends actress that his desire divorce had nothing to do with a third party - but was then pictured playing dad to Angelina's adopted son Maddox on a beach in Africa just months later.
Angelina was pregnant with their first-born, Shiloh, 12, before the ink was even signed on their divorce documents.
