F1: The Movie has received two Golden Globe nominations for 2026.
The blockbuster film, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski, has been nominated for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and for Best Original Score - Motion Picture for Hans Zimmer.
In the Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, F1 goes up against Avatar: Fire and Ash, KPop Demon Hunters, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, Sinners, Weapons, Wicked: For Good and Zootopia 2.

In the Best Original Score - Motion Picture category, Zimmer with F1 has been nominated alongside Alexandre Desplat for Frankenstein, Ludwig Goransson for Sinners, Jonny Greenwood for One Battle After Another, Kangding Ray for Sirat and Max Richter for Hamnet.
The 2026 Golden Globes are set to take place on 11 January.

Since its release in June 2025, F1 has reached a staggering $631.5million at the global box office, making it Pitt's highest-grossing film of all time.
The film, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and featuring seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton as an executive producer, follows nomadic driver Sonny Hayes (Pitt) as he returns to F1 to help struggling team APXGP alongside rookie driver Joshua Pearce, portrayed by Damson Idris.
Pitt and Idris were joined by Kerry Condon as technical director Kate McKenna, Javier Bardem as team owner Ruben Cervantes, Tobias Menzies as board member Peter Banning and Kim Bodnia as team principal Kaspar Smolinski. The cast was also joined by the F1 drivers and team members at the time of filming, and the film was shot during real-life F1 race weekends.
Adding to the star-studded line-up was Hans Zimmer, who composed the score.
With the success of the Apple Original film, it is no surprise that talks over a sequel are already under way. Bruckheimer confirmed in November that he had already held preliminary talks with Hamilton about a second instalment.
"We met with Lewis Hamilton a couple of weeks ago, and started talking about some ideas," Bruckheimer told Forbes.
"We're in London right now, and we've screened the movie twice every night for the last three nights. We have the audience in there, and the first question I ask them is, 'How many of you have not seen this movie?' 80% of the hands go up, and it's unbelievable. The other 20% have seen it several times. People that haven't seen it say, 'Oh, it's not my kind of movie.' It is your kind of movie. It's emotional, fun, and it's a great night out at the theater."
