Brad Pitt's extravagant but seriously thoughtful £60m gift for ex-wife Jennifer Aniston

In 2003, Jennifer Aniston appeared on the Ellen show fresh-faced as she gifted DeGeneres a ‘Hello’ mat as she was the first ever guest.

Sadly, on 26 May, The Ellen DeGeneres Show will air for the very last time, so we’re curious as to whether Jennifer will come bearing gifts again. Almost 20 years later, it will be Aniston’s 20th time on the show, and it’s set to be an emotional episode.

Jennifer doesn't only love giving gifts, but she loves receiving them too.

Back in 2019, Jennifer Aniston received an amazing birthday gift from her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The impressive present cost a whopping £60.57million - we could only dream!

Brad and Jennifer called time on their marriage way back in 2005 but it has been rumoured that the Troy actor still carries a torch for his ex. There are often rumours that they’re reconciling.

Jennifer split from her husband Justin Theroux in March 2018 but it was still a shock when Brad turned up at her 50th birthday celebrations.

But, when it came to gifts, not many could have trumped what Brad allegedly sorted out for Jen.

The house they used to share in Beverly Hills was on the market and when they originally split, sources close to Jennifer said that "losing their dream home worsened the heartache of their divorce and it was one of her biggest regrets not buying Brad out.”

Apparently, Brad agreed to splash out $79million to buy the house back, just so that he can give it to Jennifer - adorable.

The actress was reportedly emotional when she found out his intentions, which came after the pair apparently reminisced about their times together in the marital home.

One person who believes that Brad and Jen were a perfect match was model Caprice Bourret. She has spoken out about her time with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, saying the actress was a 'horrible b****'.

The 47-year-old model claimed that she went to dinner with Angelina and Brad separately and that her time with the Hollywood actress was 'awkward' as she failed to build a rapport with her.

Speaking to New Magazine, Caprice also claimed that Brad was more of an 'Aniston man' than being suited to 43-year-old Angelina.

She said: "I had dinner with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie separately, though I can't remember if they were married at the time.

"Brad was amazing, Angelina was a b****. She didn't say one word the entire night. She just sat there looking into space."

Yikes - doesn’t sound like a fun dining experience at all.

We can’t wait to see what the final episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show will bring though, especially with Jennifer being the final guest. After filming the episode, DeGeneres took to Twitter to reflect.

She wrote: “When we started in 2003, the iPhone didn’t exist. Social Media didn’t exist. Gay marriage wasn’t legal. We watched the world change, sometimes for the better, sometimes not.

“But whatever was happening, my goal was always for the show to be a place where we could all come together and laugh for an hour,” the comedian continued.

“Being invited into your lives has been the greatest privilege of my life and has brought me incredible joy. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
