Brad Pitt ordered to 'wrap it up' when hilariously SHUT DOWN during speech

Brad Pitt found himself being told to 'hurry up' with a plea for museum funding before being shut down completely.

The 55-year-old Hollywood star was speaking about the need for additional funding for Los Angeles County Museum of Art, when his 'time was up' and was told in no uncertain terms to shut up.

Chairwoman Janice Hahn was not bothered whether Pitt was an A-lister or not, the time was up and she stepped in to 'wrap it up'.

Pitt was enthusing about architect Peter Zumthor when Hahn interrupted, telling the actor: "It brings me great pain to say wrap it up Mr Pitt."

As laughter starts filling the room, Hahn continued: "It kills me to say that but wrap it up."

Standing alongside Diane Keaton, the Hollywood legend saw the funny side as Pitt replied: "We actors suffer from verbosity!"

Pitt then continued with his statement but before he could finish his speech, Hahn stepped in again with one final blow, saying: "We only do one take here, thank you so much for being here Mr. Pitt."

Despite being cut off in full flow, Pitt and Keaton had worked enough magic with their pleas, as the nine figure sum was approved.

The project to extensively redesign the LACMA is coming in at around $650 million, with much of funds being raised through private investors.

Among the benefactors is American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, who has pledged $2.5 million in exchange for naming rights of a museum cafe.
