Brad Pitt ensured his name would not be forgotten at the Oscars Nominees luncheon by hilariously wearing his name badge throughout.
Despite having one of the most instantly recognisable faces in the world, the 56-year-old Hollywood legend wore the tag on the breast pocket of his taupe coloured suit.
Brad may have just been proud to share that he is up for Actor in a Supporting Role fr his turn in Once upon a time…in Hollywood.
While Brad was not leaving anything to assumption, his fellow Tinseltown stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Charlize Theron were seen chatting with him but without any identification as to who they were.
What was for certain, whether Brad wore the name badge on purpose or not, he quickly became the subject of conversation on social media.
One Twitter user shared their glee at seeing the actor, tweeting: "#BradPitt wearing a name tag to the #Oscars lunch is freaking hilarious."
Another added in a tweet: "Love that Brad Pitt wore a name tag at the Oscars Nominee Luncheon today."
There are high hopes that Brad will replicate his Golden Globes achievement by walking away with an Oscars statuette.
In accepting his gong at the Golden Globes, Brad poked fun at his co-star DiCaprio.
Referencing Leonardo's famous scene in Titanic, Brad said: "I would have shared the raft."
He then poked fun at the clamour to see him dating again after the split from Angelina, saying: "I wanted to bring my mum but I couldn't because any woman I stand next to, they say I'm dating.
"It would just be awkward all right. Thank you."
Hopes of romance were raised at the recent SAG Awards, after Brad was seen briefly holding hands with ex wife Jennifer Aniston.
The coming together of Hollywood's 'golden couple' left many desiring that they gave it another go and get together again.
Jennifer was all smiles, especially after Brad took a swipe at ex Angelina Jolie in his acceptance speech.
He told the enthralled crown: "Let's be honest. It was a difficult part.
"A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch."
