Brad Pitt is reportedly finding it hard to date again after splitting from his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
The 57-year-old Hollywood actor and the Eternals actress, 46, were declared legally single in April 2019 after they broke up in September 2016.
But the estranged pair are still hammering out details of their settlement, including custody of their six children.
Amid the ongoing drama between them, sources claim Brad is "eager to find The One" and "would dearly love to date again", but they say he is hesitant.
"[He wants to] find that special someone to be with long-term," an insider told US Weekly.
They continued: "The trouble is that he hates the process and how he can't even step out for a friendly coffee without it being gossiped about."
The source went on to claim outside of Brad's love life, his main priority is "family, charities and work" for the time being.
Brad and ex-wife Angelina married in France in 2014, with the Maleficent actress filing for divorce two years later.
The former couple share six children together - Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13.
They are still at war with each other who will get custody of their children, and their court battle continues.
But it was recently reported Brad hopes he and his ex-wife can put it all behind them and move on at some point in the future.
A source told the publication: "Brad hopes that one day he and Angelina find a way to forgive each other and move forward, for the kids' sakes if nothing else. He hates all the bad blood."
Meanwhile, Angelina appears to have been dipping her toe back into the dating world as she was spotted with The Weeknd on numerous occasions.
The Hollywood icon was also spotted with another ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller in recent months.
Friends of the actress say Jolie is excited about seeing new people.
One said: "Angelina is having so much fun right now, and she's making up for lost time."
