Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie agree 'traditional schooling' as divorce continues

The divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have lasted a year longer than their marriage but they have made another step forward.

The 56-year-old Hollywood actor was married to his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star for two years, though they were together for 14 years altogether but it has taken three years for them to agree a settlement so far.

So, it was a big positive after they agreed the educational path for their five school-age children, as they continue to coparent.

The Blast has reported that Brad filed papers in Los Angeles County Court which informed the judge that he and Ange have now made an agreement regarding 'Education and Transitional Support.'

The couple have reportedly decided upon a 'traditional' form of schooling for their children.

Eldest son Maddox, 18, is now at college in South Korea, so the decision will cover his siblings Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shilo, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

While they were together, the children were mainly home schooled by nannies and tutors, as Brad and Angelina relocated around the world for film sets and other projects.

Speaking about this set-up in 2017, 44-year-old Angelina said: "It bothered me how little I was taught in school."

She revealed that they chose homeschooling because of the multicultural backgrounds of their children.

Angelina continued: "I do worry about my children's education. I homeschool partially because they are from around the world and it's very... I didn't want them to have the same education I had when it came to Vietnam or Cambodia."

Since splitting in 2016, the pair have reached a custody agreement over their children, but are still finalising the financial part of the divorce, though a court has declared them both 'officially single'.

Brad is thought to be worth $300 million (£282 million) while Angelina is worth $100 million (£81 million).
