Like Michael Jordan and Brett Favre, Brad Childress just can’t retire.
Per Tom Pelissero, Childress is expected to return to the NFL in an assistant consultant role. Childress and Bears coach Matt Nagy worked together in Kansas City.

Childress was the Vikings head coach from 2006-10, amassing a 39-35 record. He coached the team when the Vikings advanced to the NFC Championship in 2009. While we’d love to say he led the Vikings, he wasn’t much of a leader and turned out to be a not-so-great hire.
We’ll see how he can help Nagy and the Bears.
