Last week's ranking in parentheses.
1. Falcons 2-0 (1). They continue to have the solution for the Packers, but losing pass rusher Vic Beasley for a month or so to a hamstring tear will hurt.
2. Chiefs 2-0 (3). They traded up in Round 3 to make Kareem Hunt the sixth running back drafted, and he's the most dynamic offensive player in the league through two weeks.
3. Raiders 2-0 (4). The offensive line ran over the Jets, and the Raiders could get on a real roll with a relatively easy schedule through mid-October.
4. Steelers 2-0 (6). The defense has looked really good, but they've gone against DeShone Kizer and Case Keenum. Mike Glennon's up next.
5. Broncos 2-0 (10). Trevor Siemian is looking like a star, but don't overlook the running game's role in the offensive turnaround. They smashed the Cowboys.
6. Patriots 1-1 (7). They are giving up big plays at an alarming rate but made plenty in blowing out the Saints.
7. Packers 1-1 (5). They've been vulnerable on the road in recent seasons, and that remained the case Sunday night in Atlanta with Aaron Rodgers under duress.
8. Cowboys 1-1 (2). A lot of focus on Ezekiel Elliott loafing after an interception, but more attention should be paid to Dak Prescott's poor outing.
9. Lions 2-0 (15). They're alone atop the NFC North at 2-0, and the defense is looking pretty good. A healthy Ziggy Ansah makes a big difference.
10. Seahawks 1-1 (8). The divide you read about in the offseason between defensive and offensive players could be a thing again if they keep struggling to score. Twelve points at home against the 49ers?
11. Buccaneers 1-0 (12). LBs Lavonte David, Kwon Alexander and Kendell Beckwith dominated the Bears and form one of the better 4-3 units in the league.
12. Panthers 2-0 (14). The defense throttled the 49ers and Bills. Let's see what happens the next two weeks with the Saints and Patriots coming up.
13. Vikings 1-1 (11). Just when Sam Bradford looks really good, he suffers an unfortunate injury reported to be a bone bruise in his knee.
14. Eagles 1-1 (13). LeGarrette Blount doesn't care about your fantasy team. However, he's probably concerned about Doug Pederson's commitment to the running game.
15. Ravens 2-0 (18). Division victories over the Bengals and Browns and now a shot at the Jaguars in London is a nice way to start the season.
16. Titans 1-1 (16). Derrick Henry is pressing the issue to be the starting running back over DeMarco Murray, a good situation for the Titans to have.
17. Dolphins 1-0 (19). Lawrence Timmons went missing in Los Angeles, but the Dolphins showed up to get a season-opening victory over the Chargers.
18. Giants 0-2 (9). Rough night for Eli Manning against the Lions, but they didn't have a hint of a running game.
19. Texans 1-1 (22). An ugly offensive showing Thursday in their win in Cincinnati, but there's no turning back from Deshaun Watson as the starter now.
20. Cardinals 1-1 (17). Bruce Arians put the heat on QB Carson Palmer, and he's going to need the veteran to deliver with David Johnson sidelined.
21. Redskins 1-1 (24). They grinded out a victory against the Rams, and the extension for RB Chris Thompson looks like a smart move.
22. Rams 1-1 (20). One early bright spot is Todd Gurley looks good running the ball again.
23. Bills 1-1 (25). Sean McDermott's defense looks pretty good. The offense remains another story.
24. Chargers 0-2 (23). They could not sell out a 27,000-seat soccer stadium for their opener in Los Angeles. This projects to be an ugly situation for the NFL.
25. Jaguars 1-1 (21). Titans CB Logan Ryan summed it up nicely when he said, "They don't have a lot of confidence in their quarterback situation."
26. Saints 0-2 (26). They go to Carolina this week, host the Dolphins and Lions and then visit the Packers. Could the Saints be headed to 1-5 or 0-6?
27. Bengals 0-2 (27). They used their first two draft picks on WR John Ross and RB Joe Mixon. Neither is touching the ball much, and the Bengals have nine points in two games.
28. Bears 0-2 (28). All that feel-good generated from a narrow loss to the Falcons in Week 1 evaporated before halftime at Tampa Bay.
29. 49ers 0-2 (30). Two games and counting ... and they've yet to score a touchdown.
30. Colts 0-2 (29). Andrew Luck still isn't cleared to practice. We'll see if Jacoby Brissett can improve rapidly.
31. Browns 0-2 (31). WR Corey Coleman is sidelined with a broken right hand for the second straight year.
32. Jets 0-2 (32). Two down, 14 to go.
