Brad Biggs' Week 13 NFL power rankings

Last week's ranking in parentheses.

1. Cowboys 10-1 (1). Jerry Jones says team won't lessen Ezekiel Elliott's workload down the stretch.

2. Patriots 9-2 (3). Suddenly looking a little vulnerable after narrow victory against Jets.

3. Raiders 9-2 (4). Derek Carr looks like a legitimate MVP candidate.

4. Chiefs 8-3 (7). Justin Houston is back in a big way, but Chiefs will have to avoid letdown in Atlanta after grueling OT victory in Denver.

5. Broncos 7-4 (5). Gary Kubiak played for the win in trying 62-yard field goal in overtime; instead, Broncos took a loss.

6. Seahawks 7-3-1 (2). Questions raised after they scored only five points in road loss to Buccaneers.

7. Falcons 7-4 (8). Loss of pass rusher Adrian Clayborn for a month with a knee injury will be challenging for Dan Quinn's defense.

8. Giants 8-3 (6). Sorry, win against lowly Browns does nothing for their ranking.

9. Steelers 6-5 (9). Cornerback Artie Burns gearing up for a busy Sunday afternoon covering Odell Beckham Jr.

10. Dolphins 7-4 (11). They take six-game winning streak to Baltimore, and right now they're in playoffs.

11. Lions 7-4 (12). Jim Caldwell's team is 13-6 since middle of last season.

12. Redskins 6-4-1 (10). Long rest from Thanksgiving loss needed for playmaking tight end Jordan Reed, who is battling shoulder injury.

13. Ravens 6-5 (17). Joe Flacco, offense have to be better for Ravens to have legitimate shot to compete.

14. Bills 6-5 (18). Tough road ahead with trip to Oakland followed by visit from Steelers. Bills need to win both to be relevant down the stretch.

15. Vikings 6-5 (13). Final four games look winnable, but they really need to pull off upset Thursday night against Cowboys.

16. Titans 6-6 (21). Marcus Mariota has thrown 21 touchdown passes and only three interceptions in last eight games to put Titans in AFC South race.

17. Saints 5-6 (22). Sean Payton and Drew Brees stuck it to Gregg Williams in his return to Superdome for first time since Bountygate scandal.

18. Buccaneers 6-5 (23). Dirk Koetter's bunch has won three consecutive games for first time since 2013.

19. Chargers 5-6 (25). They have placed 17 players on injured reserve but have battled tough and have some winnable games down the stretch.

20. Texans 6-5 (16). They have to be in the market for a quarterback again, right? Brian Hoyer had better numbers last season than Brock Osweiler does this year.

21. Packers 5-6 (26). Aaron Rodgers suffered hamstring injury but still guided Packers to road win against Eagles to snap four-game skid.

22. Eagles 5-6 (14). Doug Pederson says final stretch will determine who wants to be in Philadelphia moving forward.

23. Panthers 4-7 (19). It's going to be a long stay on the West Coast if they can't come out of Seattle with a victory.

24. Cardinals 4-6-1 (15). Bruce Arians blaming "selfishness" on some of team's recent woes. That's a bad problem to have.

25. Colts 5-6 (20). Scott Tolzien competed pretty darn well in Thanksgiving loss to Steelers, which will beef up his resume.

26. Bengals 3-7-1 (24). Impressive run of five straight playoff appearances _ and five one-and-dones _ will come to an end.

27. Rams 4-7 (27). Eric Dickerson vowing not to return to a game as long as Jeff Fisher remains coach. Fisher was rumored to have an extension waiting for him early in season.

28. Jets 3-8 (28). They won 10 games last season, but with roster full of aging veterans, decisions loom for offseason.

29. Jaguars 2-9 (29). Skid likely to hit seven Sunday with trip to Denver on tap.

30. Bears 2-9 (30). No. 2 Pick Bowl Sunday at Soldier Field versus Niners. No guarantee Bears get that pick with loss, but it will be harder to land if they win.

31. 49ers 1-10 (31). Colin Kaepernick accounted for 409 of 49ers' 475 yards in close road loss to Dolphins. Can he hit 400 again Sunday against Bears?

32. Browns 0-12 (32). They hit their open date in time to get rested up for ... a push for No. 1 overall pick?
