Last week's rankings in parenthesis.
1. Eagles 9-1 (1). Expectations for a Super Bowl appearance are ramping up for the Eagles, who have rolled off eight straight victories.
2. Patriots 8-2 (2). Went to Mexico City to topple the Raiders, and they've won 13 consecutive road games.
3. Steelers 8-2 (3). Sagging offense came to life against the Titans in a big way.
4. Vikings 8-2 (7). Mike Zimmer's defense is getting due recognition after stifling the powerful Rams offense.
5. Saints 8-2 (5). Drew Brees' numbers haven't been great, but he carried them to a comeback victory over the Redskins.
6. Panthers 7-3 (8). Coming off an open date, they can't be overlooking the Jets on Sunday with a critical matchup with the first-place Saints looming Dec. 3.
7. Rams 7-3 (6). Dominant defensive line was foiled by Vikings QB Case Keenum, and now it has to prepare for Drew Brees and the Saints.
8. Jaguars 7-3 (10). They can't keep winning ugly like Sunday's affair in Cleveland, but they're in first place entering Week 12 for the first time since 1999.
9. Lions 6-4 (13). Don't play a team in December with a winning record, but they need to have full focus on Thursday's meeting with the Vikings at Ford Field.
10. Falcons 6-4 (14). Steve Sarkisian's offense is finally clicking after an entertaining victory Monday night in Seattle.
11. Seahawks 6-4 (9). Blair Walsh missed a 52-yarder as time expired in a 34-31 loss to the Falcons, but why did Pete Carroll call for a fake field goal on the final play of the first half?
12. Chiefs 6-4 (4). Searching for answers after a loss to the Giants, and it might not be an aberration. They've lost four of their last five.
13. Cowboys 5-5 (12). Eagles RB Jay Ajayi says the Cowboys "definitely" quit in the second half of Sunday night's blowout. He might have a point.
14. Titans 6-4 (11). Marcus Mariota threw a career-high four interceptions in an ugly loss Thursday in Pittsburgh. He can bounce back against the Colts.
15. Ravens 5-5 (20). Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the sixth seed in the AFC playoffs if the postseason began this week. Seriously.
16. Chargers 4-6 (22). All of a sudden they've won four of five with the loss a hard-fought game at New England. Anthony Lynn's team is coming on.
17. Redskins 4-6 (18). Total collapse in New Orleans, squandering a late 15-point lead, could haunt them into January.
18. Packers 5-5 (15). So much for Brett Hundley turning the corner against the Bears. He had four turnovers while getting shut out at home by the Ravens.
19. Bills 5-5 (17). Sean McDermott clearly made a blunder switching from Tyrod Taylor to Nathan Peterman. The rookie tossed five picks in the first half of a blowout loss to the Chargers.
20. Raiders 4-6 (16). One offensive coordinator has been axed in the AFC West, and Todd Downing is under extreme pressure with the Raiders faltering all season.
21. Dolphins 4-6 (19). There is plenty wrong with the offense, but don't forget the defense is allowing 25.4 points per game and trending in the wrong direction (34 ppg in the last five).
22. Jets 4-6 (21). They're clinging to the idea the playoffs are a realistic possibility, but that means Sunday's game against the Panthers at the Meadowlands is a must-win.
23. Bengals 4-6 (24). Running game is stuck in the mud, but Andy Dalton fired three TD passes to lift them to victory in Denver, the club's first there since 1975.
24. Buccaneers 4-6 (27). With Jameis Winston's right shoulder still ailing, Ryan Fitzpatrick will start again Sunday against the Falcons with the Bucs having won two in a row.
25. Texans 4-6 (29). It was far from perfect, but Tom Savage was much better in a victory over the Cardinals that snapped a three-game losing streak.
26. Cardinals 4-6 (23). Two late interceptions didn't help, but Blaine Gabbert threw three TD passes, a career first for the journeyman.
27. Bears 3-7 (25). Consecutive losses to the Packers and Lions leave them 3-16 in their last 19 games against NFC North foes.
28. Broncos 3-7 (26). John Elway labeled the team soft, and coach Vance Joseph fired offensive coordinator Mike McCoy after the sixth straight loss. That's a heck of a week.
29. Colts 3-7 (28). Coming out of the open date, they probably need a strong finish for coach Chuck Pagano to keep his job.
30. Giants 2-8 (31). They stunned the Chiefs on Sunday, but Ben McAdoo's last stand will likely last only six more games.
31. 49ers 1-9 (30). Kyle Shanahan has yet to announce anything, but you have to imagine Jimmy Garoppolo gets the start Sunday versus the Seahawks.
32. Browns 0-10 (32). Owner Jimmy Haslam is rumored to be interested in recruiting Peyton Manning for a front-office role. One would imagine if Manning has interest, he could field better offers.
