Dec. 10--Last week in parentheses.
1. Packers 10-3 (1): Little concerning Falcons put up 37 on them but you had feeling no matter how many Falcons scored, Aaron Rodgers would score more.
2. Patriots 10-3 (2): Bill Belichick's team tosses aside Justin Bieber curse with convincing victory at San Diego.
3. Seahawks 9-4 (5): Question now is whether they can get home-field advantage in playoffs or at least a first-round bye.
4. Broncos 10-3 (3): Trips to San Diego and Cincinnati the next two weeks should be good primers for postseason action.
5. Cardinals 10-3 (6): Rebounded with tough victory at home over Chiefs but get feeling they won't go too far with Drew Stanton at QB.
6. Eagles 9-4 (4): Can pretty much wrap up NFC East with victory over visiting Cowboys on Sunday night.
7. Colts 9-4 (7): They have won 11 straight games against AFC South foes and can wrap up division Sunday with home victory over Texans.
8. Cowboys 9-4 (8): Going to have to extend road record to 7-0 and get revenge over Eagles on the road Sunday. Big challenge.
9. Lions 9-4 (9): Jim Caldwell closing in on a playoff berth in his first season.
10. Steelers 8-5 (12): Fourth-quarter explosion at Cincinnati puts them in position where they could win division at home vs. Bengals in Week 17.
11. Bengals 8-4-1 (10): Marvin Lewis calls Johnny Manziel "midget" before meeting with Browns. Waiting for Andy Dalton to stand tall in playoffs.
12. Ravens 8-5 (14): Have scored 101 more points than opponents and only Patriots (134) and Packers (119) have done better.
13. Chargers 8-5 (11): Mike McCoy delicately answered questions about Qualcomm crowd that had a lot of Patriots fans Sunday night. Smart move.
14. Chiefs 7-6 (15): Last time Chiefs wide receiver caught touchdown pass was Dec. 8, 2013.
15. Dolphins 7-6 (13): Playoffs likely on line with Sunday's trip to face the Patriots.
16. Browns 7-6 (18): Johnny Manziel becomes their 21st starting quarterback since 1999.
17. Texans 7-6 (20): J.J. Watt has been fantastic even without Jadeveon Clowney opposite him but hard to pick him over Aaron Rodgers for MVP.
18. Rams 6-7 (21): Jeff Fisher's six captains for Sunday's trouncing of Redskins all came in picks via the RG3 blockbuster trade. That sizzles.
19. 49ers 7-6 (16): Be interesting to see what 49ers' next coach thinks about Colin Kaepernick.
20. Bills 7-6 (17): Finishing above .500 will be a tall order with games left vs. Packers and Patriots. Do Pegulas clean house when it is over?
21. Saints 5-8 (19): Never good when talk in locker room after deflating home loss centers around leadership -- or lack of it.
22. Vikings 6-7 (24): Have to figure Mike Zimmer puts a cornerback at or near top of his offseason priority list.
23. Falcons 5-8 (22): Players showed some fight for Mike Smith in second half but end could be near for coach.
24. Panthers 4-8-1 (25): No Monday off for players as Ron Rivera put them back to work after blowout victory at New Orleans.
25. Bears 5-8 (23): Remorse might be much greater if team cannot find a way to win a game or two in final three weeks.
26. Giants 4-9 (26): Offense taking shape under first-year coordinator Ben McAdoo the last three weeks.
27. Raiders 2-11 (32): Credit offensive coordinator Greg Olson for some fine work with rookie QB Derek Carr.
28. Jaguars 2-11 (29): Simply have not shown an acceptable level of growth, improvement in Gus Bradley's second season.
29. Jets 2-11 (31): Woody Johnson needs an extra-wide push broom to sweep out this mess.
30. Bucs 2-11 (27): Lovie Smith in position to have No. 1 pick and presumably draft Marcus Mariota. Will Bucs screw it up?
31. Redskins 3-10 (28): RG3. Jay Gruden. Bruce Allen. Who goes? Who stays?
32. Titans 2-11 (30):D Name three nice young players Ken Whisenhunt has to build around. OK. Two?
