Ronan and Storm Keating revealed they cried tears of joy when they found out they are having a baby girl.
The Boyzone star, 42, revealed in November he and his 38-year-old wife were expecting their second child – and his fifth.
And speaking just six weeks before they are due to welcome their new arrival, they said they have already picked the name of their unborn daughter.
The Dubliner told OK! magazine: “We’re having a baby girl. It’s super exciting.
“We are very lucky and I am so happy for Storm. We’ve known for a while whether we’ve been having a boy or a girl and it’s been really hard keeping it a secret.”
Storm added: “People keep asking if we know and we’re like, ‘We do, but we’re not saying yet’.
“I’ve always wanted at least one of each sex so I’m feeling very blessed. That’s five kids in total now, so that’s enough, we’re going to have to get Ro to have the snip.
“I secretly hoped for a girl the first time but then Cooper turned out to be such a little legend that, going into this one, I was like, ‘I could easily have another boy’.
“They’re so easy. We’re a little anxious about having a girl and the different dynamic that might bring.”
Ronan is already a dad to Jack, 20, Missy, 18, and 14-year-old Ali from his first marriage to Yvonne Connolly, while he and Storm’s son Cooper was born in 2017.
He said: “People say that girls can be trickier. With Cooper being such a dream we’re scared we can’t get that lucky twice.”
Storm added: “Even if she is a little terror, I’m so chuffed it’s a girl.
“We’ve had the name since the early days. It’s not a traditional name, it’s a little bit different.”
Ronan met the Australian fashion designer on the country’s version of the X Factor and they married in 2015.
