Boys as young as 12 and 13 were caught by police with drugs and cash.
Merseyside Police confirmed officers stopped and searched a group as part of the force's crackdown on anti social-behaviour around St Helens town centre, on March 8.
Upon performing the search, officers found a bag containing a large amount of cannabis and cash.

In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "It's already proving fruitful in the town centre as a 12 and a 13 year old male have been stopped and searched near to the bus station and found in possession of a large amount of cannabis.
"Once again, if your children are in the town centre we will take action against them if found to be committing crime or anti-social behaviour."
As part of the force's attempts to tackle the rising issue of anti-so cial behaviour in the town centre, Merseyside Police said it has increased visible patrols in the area and will have zero tolerance of criminal behaviour
