Boyband JLS announce that they are reuniting for a massive UK arena tour

JLS have announced that they are reforming for a new UK and Ireland tour later this year.

The boyband — whose hits include Beat Again, One Shot and Everybody In Love — originally shot to fame when they finished second to Alexandra Burke on The X Factor in 2008.

They announced they were going on hiatus in 2013, but came together for a reunion tour in 2021.

Now they have confirmed via social media that they will be hitting the road once again for 15 dates through October and November, including two nights at London’s O2 Arena.

Sharing the news on Twitter, they wrote: “The suspense is over… We couldn’t be more excited to announce another UK and Ireland arena tour later this year.”

Expanding further in a press release, members Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, JB Gill and Marvin Humes said: “[The] last time out was totally surreal and we’ve been eagerly awaiting the right time to do it all over again.

“Playing live and seeing our amazing fans is definitely the best part of being JLS!”

Tickets for the EVERYBODY SAY JLS: The Hits Tour go on sale on March 3 at 9am and judging from the reaction online, their fans are excited.

“Finally! So buzzing to be able to come see you boys again,” wrote one person on Twitter.

“Yayyyyyyy can’t wait to see you guys again,” agreed another.

A third added: “What better day to announce this than on my birthday!!”

Opening up about the last time that they reunited, Humes said how special it was to be able to share the experience with their children.

He told the Daily Star: “It was nice to be able to share those moments with them, the kids were treating the arena like it was their playground, running around and having the time of their lives to seeing their dads and their uncles on the stage and taking it all in and it must be weird to them and exciting as well.”
