A 15-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman were wounded Saturday in a shooting in Parkway Gardens on the South Side.

About 10:40 p.m. they were standing on the sidewalk in the 6500 block of South King Drive, when they were approached by two men who fired shots at them, Chicago police said.

The boy was struck in the buttocks and the woman was struck in the left hand and right leg, police said.

They both were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where they were stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
