Boy taken to hospital after hit-and-run in Bolton

A 12 year-old boy was hurt in a hit-and-run in Bolton.

It happened at around 8.45pm on Sunday night (September 6) on King Street in Farnworth.

Police said there was a 'minor collision'. The driver 'failed to stop', GMP added.

Officers attended, along with paramedics, and the boy was taken to hospital.

Police said the boy's injuries are believed to be minor.

Enquiries are ongoing. Police are asking witnesses to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call GMP on 101, quoting incident 2871 of 06/09/20.
