Boy 'seriously hurt' in stabbing attack by 'gang in balaclavas' in Hudson Road, Harehills

Police have confirmed that a teenager has been stabbed in the Harehills area of Leeds today (Wednesday).

Police have been blocking a large cordon around Hudson Road throughout this afternoon to the concern of neighbours.

West Yorkshire Police have now confirmed that they were called to the road around 3.40pm and discovered a teenage boy "found to have suffered serious but not life threatening knife injuries".

Reports suggest a number of men wearing balaclavas were seen at Brown Hill Terrace, at the junction with Hudson Road.

It is also reported that police helicopters had been circling the area for some time.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to a disturbance on Hudson Road, Harehills, Leeds, shortly before 3:40pm this afternoon (8/12/21) where one teenage male was found to have suffered serious but not life threatening knife injuries.

"Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Leeds CID by calling 101, quoting reference 908 of 8/12.
