Boy 'scared' after rushing to help woman outside of pub

A young boy was left 'scared' after he rushed over to help an elderly woman who was injured outside a Wirral pub.

He stopped to helped the woman yesterday morning (Thursday, October 7) and has since been praised for his actions.

A witness who was driving past spotted the pair in need of help. She later took to a public Facebook group to sing the lad's praises.

She wrote: "I was driving past the traffic lights at the Kings in Rock ferry this morning, I seen a young lad help an old lady, she had hurt her ankle.

"I only noticed coz the lad was looking around as if he didn't know what to do. He looked so worried. I stopped and asked if they were ok. He said what had happened.

"I offered a lift but he got her to the bus stop as the bus came. The lad was dressed in black with a black bag on his back.

"If you're his parents, you should be very proud of him, he looked so scared, but still helped the old lady."

People commenting on the post were blown away by the young lad's kindness.

One wrote: "Aww God bless him for helping the lady. Do good for others and it comes back to you."
