Boy rushed to hospital after attack at school

A boy was rushed to hospital with face injuries after a reported assault at a high school.

Merseyside Police descended on Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School at 12.40pm on Thursday, November 24, following reports of an assault. Once officers arrived at the school on Honey's Green Lane, West Derby, they found a young boy with injuries to his face.

The boy was rushed to hospital with his injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and emergency services remained in the area to establish the full circumstances of this incident and review any CCTV footage.

Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School have been approached for comment.
