A boy had a miraculously escape today when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a car.
The 10 year-old’s bike ended up jammed underneath the front of the Volkswagen Golf estate.
Miraculously the boy was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with what police said were “non-life-threatening” injuries.

The collision happened on the city’s Garthdee Road, close to the Asda supermarket, at about 2.40pm.
There was a large police presence and the road was closed to traffic as an investigation was carried out.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
