Boy left in agony after leg run over in horrific Seacroft hit-and-run in Leeds

A 13-year-old boy has been left with a broken leg after a car ran over him in a hit-and-run in Leeds.

It happened on Wednesday, November 24, at around 5.15pm when the young teenager crossed Foundry Lane in Seacroft.

A black "family type" car approached from the direction of the A64. The boy ran to the pavement but fell leaving his leg trailing in the road.

The car then drove over his leg causing a fracture before the driver sped up and drove off.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for information over a hit-and-run road traffic collision in Leeds that left a teenage boy with a broken leg.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation, particularly anyone who was driving in the area and has relevant dash-cam footage, is asked to contact PC 404 Cullen at the Roads Policing Unit via 101, quoting reference 13210612894 or online."
