Boy knocked off bike in Ballygally hit and run

A 14-year-old boy was knocked off his bike during a hit and run incident in Co Antrim.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which occurred on the Coast Road, Ballygally at around 4.30pm yesterday, June 27.

Officers say a white car was involved in the incident.

A PSNI Larne spokesperson posted on Facebook: "Police are investigating a Hit and Run which occurred on the Coast Road, Ballygally (within the vicinity of the polar bear) at approximately 16:30 hours yesterday, Thursday 27th June.

"A white car knocked a 14-year-old male off his bike. If you happened to see this incident yesterday or have any information regarding this, please contact police on 101 quoting ref: 522 of 28/06/2019."
