Boy George snubbed after writing Eurovision track for I'm a Celebrity's Scarlette Douglas

Boy George was ignored by his I'm A Celebrity campmate, Scarlette Douglas, after writing her a track.

The Culture Club star grew close to Scarlette during his time in the jungle with the pair often cosying up together. Their friendship was cut short after Scarlette was eliminated second, with Boy George swiftly following her two days later.

He gave a brief interview on Good Morning Britain today where he spoke candidly about his time in the jungle. Richard Arnold held the conversation and managed to reveal the singer was snubbed by his fellow campmate after he wrote her a track for Eurovision.

Before she became a presenter on A Place in The Sun, Scarlette found brief Eurovison fame as a backing singer and dancer for the UK act Electro Velvet in 2015. Last month she told the Mirror she approached Boy George to write her a single for a potential comeback.

She said: "I messaged him. I was like 'If I entered into Eurovision would you write me a song?' And he was like 'Of course, I would'. [...] That could be quite cool".

Boy George confirmed the track is finished but he hasn't heard back. He said: "I wrote this thing called 'World of Compassion' because I thought it'd be a good message but she never called me back. So basically, she said it in the papers and I was like 'Okay, it's not gonna happen if you don't call me' so yeah.

"I mean, I have this already so if she wants a song she can call me. Cheers."
