Boy George could have sent a ‘secret message’ to his Irish mother while in the middle of doing a trial in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
The singer teamed up with Babatúndé Aléshé and Chris Moyles to face down scorpions and snakes in Tuesday’s trial, Angel of Agony.
The trio were placed in boxes on top of each other, with Boy George at the bottom, Babatúndé Aléshé in the middle and Chris Moyles at the top.

Culture Club star Boy George has to unscrew gold stars, before sliding them through a slot toward Googlebox favourite Babatúndé, who then passed them to the radio DJ Chris at the top.
But things didn't go to plan as Babatúndé accidentally dropped many of the stars. This resulted in the team only bringing home three to their jungle campmates.

After the terrifying trial, which saw creepy crawlies and snakes added into the mix, Boy George appeared to send a message to his Irish mother.
The singer, whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd, has Irish heritage with his mother Dinah O'Dowd from Dublin
61-year-old Boy George appeared to address mum Dinah directly, saying out loud: “I tried, I tried, Mother, I tried.”

Earlier in the series, viewers watched on as the star threatened to quit following the arrival of British politician Matt Hancock in the Australian jungle.
He told the MP he was "going to get it" from the public after he was forced to step down as Health Secretary last year due to breaking social distancing rules during the Covid pandemic.
Boy George was left in tears as he reflected on his mum Dinah being ill during the pandemic.
The singer explained that he wasn't allowed to see Dinah, who almost died in hospital, due to rules in place by the Government.
At the time, Matt was serving as Health Secretary before leaked CCTV footage showed him kissing his married aide Gina Colangelo, which breached rules.
Breaking her silence on her son threatening to quit the jungle for her, his mum told The Mirror's Mark Jefferies: "George and I are very close and I’m so very proud of him. He is always there for me, so his reaction wasn’t a surprise, and I am waiting to hug him when he gets home."
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
