A boy has died after being hit by a bus in a horror crash after school.
The youngster was hit on the A466 Hereford Road, in Monmouth, Wales, at around 3.48pm yesterday.
It is believed he was a pupil at Osbaston Church in Wales School, in Monmouth.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Ambulance crews arrived to find a pedestrian, a boy, who had been involved in a collision with a bus.
"Sadly, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead on scene.”
A former school teacher who lives in Monmouth told Mirror Online: "The road is the biggest problem on earth.
"It's a very narrow, busy road. I feel it's very dangerous. I'm absolutely shocked a boy has died."

She added that she always thought the road was an 'accident waiting to happen'.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Welsh Ambulance Service attended the incident.
The youngster's age has not yet been revealed.
The A466 was shut after the crash, although it reopened at around 9.30pm, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called yesterday (13 January, 2020) at approximately 3.44pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian on the A466, Monmouth.
"With the support of West Midlands Ambulance Service, we responded with one emergency ambulance and two rapid response vehicles.”
