Boy allegedly attacked in brawl involving up to 30 teenagers in Malahide

A teenage boy was injured after he was allegedly attacked in a brawl involving a large number of youths in north Dublin.

The shocking incident took place on Sunday evening in the Seabury area of Malahide.

An eye-witness told Dublin Live the victim was attacked by at least two other boys while the rest of the group looked on.

She said: "It looked to be pre-arranged fight as it was a really large number of teens (about 30 mostly boys and a few girls of around 15 and 16).

"It was going on in a field and the next thing I saw a boy on the ground being kicked.

"There was a woman nearby on her phone, presumably calling the Gardai. I didn't have my phone on me.

"Around 20 minutes later the boy who was attacked was sitting in the field surrounded by several adults who obviously saw this happen too."

Dublin Live has contacted An Garda Siochana for comment.
