A nine-year-old boy was allegedly targeted with a firework by youths in a Glasgow park.
Police received reports of the child being targeted at nightswood Park at around 7.45pm on Wednesday, September 18.
It is understood he was hit but unharmed by the firework.
Social media reports allege that around 30 youngsters were throwing fireworks and stones at cars.
Police Scotland has now launched an investigation into the report.
A spokesperson for the force: “We received a report of the alleged incident at around 7.45pm on Wednesday, September 18 at Knightswood Park.
“We are currently investigating what happened at the park.”
