A young boy has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a van in Falkirk.
Emergency services scrambled to Dryburgh Avenue in Denny at around just after 6pm yesterday evening.
The extent of his injuries are currently not known at this time, but the road was closed while office investigated the accident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Dryburgh Avenue, Denny, around 6.10pm on Monday, 12 July, following a crash involving a van and an 8-year-old pedestrian.
"The boy was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment."
