Boy, 8, rushed to hospital 'after being attacked by dogs' at house in Tallaght, Dublin

A boy was rushed to hospital this afternoon after he was reportedly attacked by dogs.

The child, eight, was seriously injured in the incident, which took place at a house in Tallaght, Dublin at around 4pm on Sunday, March 22.

The child was taken to Tallaght Hospital and has since been removed to Children's Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin.

Gardai said in a statement that the dog warden has been notified and the dogs have been confiscated.

A full investigation into this incident is now underway by gardai at Tallaght Garda Station.
