Boy, 7, has wedding guests in fits of laughter describing mum's 'first sleepover' with husband

A seven-year-old had guests at his mum's wedding in tears of laughter after a 'mini best man' speech.

Anthony's mum, Stacey, married Robert Robertson in front of their loved ones on Friday (July 19).

But it was the little man who stole the show when he grasped the microphone to make a speech dressed in a tiny kilt.

And he had the crowd in fits of laughter when he described his mum's "first sleepover" with Rab, the Daily Record reports .

Speaking to guests at the Alona Hotel at Strathclyde Country Park, he opened by getting the bridal party on side.

He said: "I think we can all agree that my mum and her bridesmaids are looking beautiful".

"And Rab and his best men are looking very handsome...especially me."

And the tears started to flow when he added: "My beautiful mum has been my best friend my whole life and I can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for me.

"And thank you Rab for coming into our lives, you have brought a lot of love, laughter and beer into her home."

'I had already grassed on them'

The room was filled with laughter when Anthony remembered the "first time Rab had a sleepover at my house."

"Before they had a chance to tell anybody I had already grassed them in to my granny! Sorry mum and Rab," he joked.

In his closing words, all eyes faced Anthony as he read the most adorable lines yet.

He said: "I think mummy and Rab are perfect for each other and I’m now so excited that we’re one big happy family.

"I love you both so much, can everyone please stand and raise a glass to my mum and Rab".

The couple, both 34, are now on their honeymoon in Las Vegas.

Stacey told the Record: "He was the best speech of the day. Blew my dad's and husband's speeches out of the water".
