The family of a six-year-old boy shot dead in broad daylight while playing in his garden have demanded his killer be found.
Sir'Antonio Alphonso Brown was found by officers outside his garden after he was shot on Wednesday evening in Kansas, US, at around 6.15pm.
The child, who was playing outside, was rushed to hospital but tragically died from his injuries after a suspect fired a series of shots towards the six-year-old.
Cops have since recovered a car used in connection to the shooting thanks to a tip from a member of the public.
Police are now demanding people come forward to help them with their investigation to find the killer.
Heartbroken family members have also demanded justice including Shyneisha Hill, who says she "wants the people that did this brought to justice."
She said: “Sir was my godson.
"I just want the people that did this brought to justice. Sir deserves justice.
"No six-year-old deserves that. No child deserves that.
"No parent deserves what my cousin is going through.”
Ms Hill said the devastated family members are trying to support the child's mum.
She added: "She needs all the prayers, all the support, all the love that she can get."
Cops released an image from a CCTV video of the suspect vehicle which shows the car near the property just before multiple shots were fired.
Tributes have been paid to Sir, who just hours before, was making his teachers and fellow pupils at West Park Elementary School laugh.
Teacher Amanda Mynat said: “He always has something silly or witty to say. Yesterday, I told him to sit still. So, he started pretending to sleepwalk rather than sit still. He is a jokester but also really smart. Has a lot of friends.”
Headteacher Dr. Angela Wright said she can't believe the 6-year-old won't be back in the classroom. She called his death "devastating."
She said: "This is devastating “It’s been a very tough day. I haven’t experienced this in all my years as a principal. I’ve lost students in other ways. This is tough.”
Dr Wight said she would help fellow pupils at the school affected by the loss.
Kansas Police Department Deputy Chief George Sim believes there are people out there who know the suspects.
He said: "Somebody knows who did this. Do not retaliate. Do not confront them. Do not shelter them. Call TIPS. Call the police department, so that we can follow up and bring this investigation to a quick conclusion and bring these shooters to justice.”
Cops are requesting neighbours to check their CCTV cameras and report any information which could help the investigation.
