A trick or treater was left disappointed after unwrapping a Ferrero Rocher on Halloween and finding a Brussel sprout.
Ralph Smith, six, was out trick or treating with his family on Halloween when someone put the luxury chocolate in his pot.
The schoolboy thought he'd struck gold, and as soon as he got home, excitedly started sifting through his takings for the evening.
But, things weren't exactly as they seemed, and after unwrapping the highly anticipated chocolate.
He assumed it would be a luxurious treat which is usually given at Christmas, but he got a nasty surprise when he finally opened up the gold paper.

A crafty neighbour had disguised a Brussel sprout in Rocher wrapping and added the word 'trick' scrunched up on a small piece of paper inside.
Ralph's older brother Dan Smith, 16, was there to witness his sibling's disappointment when he found the vegetable, but says Ralph was able to see the funny side of it.
The neighbour's trick surprised the youngster, but he took it in good humour and will no-doubt take his revenge next year.

The trick usually goes the other way where kids play tricks on those who do not supply them with Halloween bounty.
But Dan, from Watford, Hertfordshire, reckoned his sibling took the joke the right way.
He said: "Although my brother was visibly disappointed, for a little kid, he handled the situation well.
"I guess whoever gave it to him decided to have some fun of their own this Halloween, and, to be fair to them, their trick worked a treat!"
The Mirror told last month how along with the traditional orange pumpkins, trick or treaters may spot people out and about with teal or blue ones too.
The blue pumpkin buckets are used by trick or treaters to show households they have autism,
The idea was started by a mother in America who explained her decision in a Facebook
post which was shared thousands of times.
