Boy, 6, goes missing on way to school sparking major police search to find him

A six-year-old boy went missing on his way to school this morning.

Police in Gloucestershire launched a major search to find Jacob James, who had last been seen in Coleford heading to school at 8.30am today (Friday 19 March).

Officers had been increasingly concerned for his welfare and wanted to speak to anyone with information about his whereabouts.

Jacob is described as being 4ft tall with blond hair and was wearing a green camouflage jumper, black Adidas jogging bottoms and green camouflage shoes.

Police later confirmed at just before midday that Jacob had been found safe and well.
