Boy, 4, rushed to hospital after being knocked down by car on Scots road

A young boy has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down by a car on a Scots road.

Emergency services raced to Raploch Street, in Larkhall, after the collision at around 3.20 pm on Thursday, December 2.

Cops were alerted after a four-year-old boy was injured after being knocked down by a car.

The youngster was rushed to Wishaw General Hospital where he remains for treatment.

His injuries are not thought to be serious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.20 pm on Thursday, 2 December, 2021, police were called after a 4-year-old boy was struck by a car on Raploch St, Larkhall.

"He was taken by ambulance to Wishaw General where he remains for treatment. His injuries are not serious however he is being kept in hospital overnight for observation.

"No further police action."
