Boy, 4, killed with mum and friend in car crash as families say they are 'devastated'

A young boy killed with his mum and her friend in a car crash on a country road in Worcestershire have been named.

Keegan Fettis, four, his mum Gemma Hobbins, 32, and her pal Cody Smith, 28, died instantly in the smash on Wednesday night.

The trio had been in a blue Ford Focus travelling towards Kidderminster at 10.15pm when they collided with a black Audi A7 coming the other way.

Despite desperate attempts by emergency crews to save the victims, they all died at the scene.

All three came from the Kidderminster and Stourport area nearby.

Police say Gemma’s family have been left “completely devastated” by the tragedy.

“They said she was much loved by all the family.

“About Keegan, they said they were completely devastated, struggled to find any words to express their grief but they are completely devastated.

“Cody’s family said she will be missed so much by all who loved her including her father, sister, nieces and nephews along with all the rest of the family.

"They said she was the life of the party.”
