Boy, 3, left gagging after parents trick him with viral Nutella prank

A mum and dad who used a viral Nutella prank to trick their son have seen their video go viral after it racked up more than one million views online.

Rubee Adams, from Hull, captured the moment her son Frankie fell for his dad's practical joke at home this week.

The video shows dad Bobby asking his son to fetch him some toilet paper after the roll has run out, and when Frankie throws it across the room he asks if he would kindly pass it to him instead, as reported by Hull Live .

When little Frankie walks over, his dad touches his arm, smearing him with Nutella before pointing at it and saying 'poo'.

A very unimpressed Frankie wipes his arm on the grey sofa before his dad tells him to smell it, wiping more of the chocolate spread on his nose.

Still none the wiser to the prank, Frankie tries to wipe his nose on the sofa and begins to gag while his parents are left in hysterics - until his mum decides it's time to put an end to the joke.

"It was so funny," said 22-year-old Rubee. "His sister, Elsie, is eight months old and whenever she has done a poo he walks around gagging.

"We thought it was the perfect prank to pull on him."

Inspired by a trend of other parents pulling the same prank, Rubee uploaded the clip to Facebook , where it's had more than 26,000 shares and a million views.

It's also been featured on the popular social media account Tradesman Banter, with the caption: "These parents decided to do the 'poo challenge' and the results are hilarious" - as others pledged to try it out for themselves.

"I had no idea it would be this huge," Rubee added.

"I’ve been getting messages from people around the world saying how funny it is.

"There have been a few angry or sad reactions to the post, but I just ignore them.

“It’s harmless fun, and you can see that Frankie is grinning in the video. We told him it was chocolate straight afterwards and he started laughing.

"This is the first time I have ever done anything like this, and it was so funny.

"I keep telling Frankie he’s famous and he just keeps saying, ‘Yeah’."
