A toddler who was hit by a car in Liverpool city centre on Wednesday remains in a critical condition.
The two-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being involved in a serious crash on Duke Street at around 7.30pm on June 9.
Several police cars and an ambulance rushed to the scene and the street was cordoned off after the child was hit by a VW Golf.

The driver stopped at the scene.
This evening, Merseyside Police confirmed the two-year-old was still fighting for his life.
Following the incident, a spokesperson said: "We are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Liverpool city centre.
"At around 7.30pm, a report was received to the ambulance service of a collision on Duke Street involving a VW Golf and a two-year-old boy. Officers were alerted a short time later.
"The child was taken to hospital and is currently in a critical but stable condition. The driver stopped at the scene to assist with enquiries. Extensive CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are ongoing."
Witnesses are urged to come forward.
Carl McNulty, Matrix Roads Policing Inspector, said: "The boy's family are being supported by officers in what is obviously an upsetting time.
"We're keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and has yet to come forward."
