A 17-year-old boy was threatened by two teenagers in balaclavas who stole his bike in the street.
At around 7pm on Wednesday, March 17, police received a report that the boy was walking down Church Street in Prescot, when he was approached by two men who told him to hand over his bike.
The two thugs stole the bike from the boy before running out of the grounds of Prescot Parish Church.
They were described as being in their late teens, dressed in dark clothing and wearing balaclavas.
Both spoke with Liverpool accents and one is said to have been holding a seat pole at the time of the incident.
Merseyside Police said the boy was unharmed but he was left distressed after what happened.
