A 17-year-old boy has been shot in the face outside a primary school.
Police have launched a manhunt to find the attacker following the shooting in Small Heath, Birmingham.
The victim was rushed to hospital after suffering face injuries but he is not in a life-threatening condition.
A cordon is in place at the scene as police investigate the incident, with photos showing a car with a bullet hole in the window.
The vehicle's left wing mirror can be seen hanging down in the images.
There was also visible damage to another vehicle at the scene.
Members of the public have been escorted in and out of a road near Regents Park Community Primary School following the shooting.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We're investigating after a gun was fired at a car in Arthur Street, Small Heath, just after 10.35pm yesterday (28 December).
"A 17-year-old boy from the vehicle was taken to hospital with a facial injury which is not life-threatening.
"We understand the community concerns this incident will cause and we're carrying out CCTV, and other enquiries, to try to establish who was responsible.

"We're keen to hear from anyone with information who can assist our investigation into who did this and why."
West Midlands Ambulance Service first confirmed an incident had occurred, with a statement saying paramedics had attended an "assault", BirminghamLive reports.
They said a teenager, whose condition wasn't serious, had received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to the hospital.
Police later expanded, saying a 17-year-old had been blasted in the face with a gun.
