A 17-year-old boy was caught illegally driving an Audi in Stockport - and he had a hilarious explanation for the police.
Officers from GMP's traffic division pulled over the Audi A4 car in the town centre.
The driver of the car was just 17, police said.
But he tried to tell officers he was actually 43-years-old.
Officers said they were 'not falling for that one' and asked him for his real details.
He will now be reported, they said.
GMP Traffic tweeted a picture of the Audi after it had been pulled over.
Alongside the photo, an officer wrote: "Stopped above the M60 motorway in Stockport by #XT41.
"Driver who was 17 tried to claim he was actually 43 years old.
"Nope not falling for that one, true details passed and he will be reported.
"Vehicle seized #RPUeast."
